About William H. Heaton

Following his graduation from law school, Will moved to Las Vegas in 1982 and began working with a firm serving a wide range of business clients. Over time, he developed extensive experience across business transactions and litigation, including entity formation, contracts, real estate development, construction matters, employment-related issues, and estate planning.


In 2017, he co-founded Heaton Legal Group, continuing his work advising business owners and individuals on legal and operational challenges. He continues to find helping clients plan, solve problems, and achieve long-term success to be one of the most rewarding aspects of his practice.

Education & Background

Will graduated in 1979 from Southern Utah State College (now Southern Utah University) with a BS in Accounting and received his law degree in 1982 from the J. Reuben Clark Law School.



He attributes much of his practical, business-focused approach to his early upbringing on a family-owned cattle ranch in rural Utah.
